Chaparral High School Brawl Leads To Three Students Arrested

A Clark County School District was injured in the melee, twisting his knee.

A melee at Chaparral High School Thursday afternoon led to three students under arrest and a Clark County School District police officer injured with abrasions and a twisted knee. A folding knife and marijuana was recovered from one of those arrested.

Officials say there was a fight. The officer was taking a student into custody when another student knocked the officer and student to the ground.

That led to the second student also being arrested.

There was then a second fight, which led to a third arrest.

One of the students also suffered a knee injury.

News 3 reports that the fight started when someone insulted a female student and one of the male students came to her defense by punching another male student.
