The city is seeking nominations for the eighth annual African American Trailblazer Service Awards. Nominations are open until 5 p.m. PDT Nov. 5, 2021. The awards will honor residents of the Las Vegas valley who have made outstanding civic accomplishments and significant contributions to the Las Vegas community in the following categories:
Submit nominations at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/trailblazeraward. Note that individuals may not nominate themselves. Limit one nomination per person. Please complete the nomination form in full; a biography will not be accepted in lieu of completing the nomination form. Nomination entries must be received electronically by 5 p.m. PDT Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, to be considered.
