Hey, people of Las Vegas! Nicole Fallon-Peek here with the Tuesday issue of the Las Vegas Daily.

First, today's weather:

Times of clouds and sun. High: 58 Low: 39.

Here are the top 3 stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. The cold case slayings of two women in Las Vegas have been solved with DNA. The murders of then sixteen-year-old Kim Bryant and Diana Hanson, then 22, were finally solved using advances in DNA technology by a Texas-based lab, a philanthropist's donations, and gumshoe detective work to link long-deceased Las Vegas resident Johnny Blake Peterson to both killings. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  2. A Las Vegas strip club is hosting a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine clinic. On Tuesday, Larry Flynt's Hustler Club, located at 6007 Dean Martin Drive, will be hosting a pre-Christmas drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The club is partnering with Immunize Nevada to offer the first and second dose of both Pfizer and Moderna, as well as J&J vaccines and both Pfizer and Moderna boosters. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
  3. One person was taken into custody following a barricade situation in the northwest valley on Monday. Officers responded to a domestic incident at an apartment complex in the 7000 block of Gowan Road and found a male suspect who refused to exit the residence. SWAT responded to the scene, but the barricade was over before 12:30 p.m. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
