Electric Daisy Carnival Death Reported

A 34-year-old man died Saturday morning.

A 34-year-old man died at the Electric Daisy Carnival Saturday morning. While the number of medical calls was up from last year, this is the only death that has been reported. He was pronounced dead just before 8 a.m..

The Clark County Coroner's Office has not yet determined the man's cause of death.

The man - identified as Michael Morse - is the seventh person to have died at the annual festival at the Las Vegas Speedway since 2011.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reports that were 342 medical calls on Sunday and four people were transported to hospitals. (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).

There were also 38 arrests on Sunday for felonies - 34 of which were narcotics related.

That followed 305 medical calls on Saturday, five of whom were transported to hospitals, and 28 felony arrests, 27 of which were narcotics related.
