- The FBI is searching for a fugitive known to frequently visit Las Vegas. The fugitive is wanted on sex trafficking charges out of New Jersey. They are suspected of running a multi-state operation to traffic victims for the purpose of prostitution. He was last seen in Los Angeles but is also known to frequent Dallas, Miami, and Atlanta. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- An inmate died in custody at Clark County Detention Center (CCDC). The inmate was discovered on the ground of his cell by a corrections officer Wednesday evening. According to police, the inmate suffered a medical episode and was pronounced dead at the CCDC after medical personnel began conducting life-saving measures. (KTNV Las Vegas)
- A 78-year-old man dies in a fatal crash, closing Flamingo Road in central Las Vegas. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
- A man is arrested in connection with a deadly Aug. 4 shooting on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- A remodeled Mountain Ridge Park skatepark opens this weekend on Sept. 11 in northwest Las Vegas. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
