Golden Knights Set To Take ice For The First Time

There was the expansion draft. There were some trades. There was the entry draft. What's left? It's time to take the ice. On Monday, the Vegas Golden Knights - getting ready for their first season ever 0 announced their schedule for this week's Development Camp, their first ever.

Starting Tuesday and running through Saturday, the team will be skating at the Las Vegas Ice Center at 9295 W Flamingo Rd #130.

The team says that there are a limited number of spots available for the general public to view the Camp's on-ice sessions. Fans must register online at https://www.nhl.com/goldenknights/info/developmentcamp beginning at 12 noon Monday, June 26 to guarantee entry to the respective session.

The camp will start off with players and staff participating in a special community event, teaming up with Deacon Tom Roberts of the Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. The team will be at 1501 N. Las Vegas Boulevard to prepare and serve a meal for more than 1,000 of Southern Nevadan's most vulnerable men, women and children. (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).

The Development Camp roster features 44 players, including 24 forwards, 15 defensemen and five goaltenders.

• Alex Barre-Boulet: Had 31 points (14 G, 17 A) in 20 games in the 2017 QMJHL Playoffs for the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
• Jake Bischoff: Acquired in a trade with the New York Islanders on June 21, 2017 along with Mikhail Grabovski and a first-round pick during the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
• Erik Brannstrom: Helped HV 71 win the Le Mat trophy as Swedish Hockey League champion in 2017. Selected by the Golden Knights in the first round (15th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Kenny Brooks: Born and raised in Las Vegas, he won the ECHL's Kelly Cup with the Colorado Eagles in 2017.
• Nikolas Brouillard: Won the QMJHL championship with the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in 2016.
• Nick Campoli: Won OJHL Top Prospect Award in 2016-17. Selected by the Golden Knights in the sixth round (158th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Dylan Coghlan: Had 53 points (15 G, 38 A) in 71 games in the 2016-17 season for the WHL's Tri-City Americans.
• Jack Dugan: Had 93 points (32 G, 61 A) in 47 games in 2016-17 season for Northwood School (NY). Selected by the Golden Knights in the fifth round (142nd overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Reid Duke: Became the first-ever signed player in Vegas Golden Knights history on March 6, 2017.
• Wyatt Ege: Named to WCHA (NCAA) All-Rookie Team for the 2015-16 season while playing for the University of Alaska-Anchorage.
• Lucas Elvenes: Represented Sweden at the 2017 U18 World Championship and at the 2016 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament. Selected by the Golden Knights in the fifth round (127th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Cody Glass: Led the WHL's Portland Winterhawks in points in 2016-17 season with 94 (32 G, 62 A) and assists with 62 in 69 games played. Selected by the Golden Knights in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Max Gottlieb: Named to NCAA ECAC All-Rookie team in 2015-16 season.
• Nicolas Hague: Led all Mississauga Steelheads (OHL) defensemen in goals (18) and points (46) in 65 games played during the 2016-17 season. Selected by the Golden Knights in the second round (34th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Jayden Halbgewachs: Had 101 points (50 G, 51 A) in 71 games in the 2016-17 season for the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors.
• Brendan Harris: Had 98 points (23 G, 75 A) in 2016-17 season for the BCHL's Wenatchee Wild.
• Grant Hutton: Had 18 points (9 G, 9 A) in 36 games in 2016-17 season as alternate captain of Miami (OH).
• Tomas Hyka: Had 38 points (17 G, 21 A) in 48 games for BK Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Extraliga in the 2016-17 season.
• Ben Jones: Had 50 points (13 G, 37 A) in 63 games played for the OHL's Niagara IceDogs in the 2016-17 season. Selected by the Golden Knights in the seventh round (189th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Michael Kim: Joined the NCAA's Boston College in 2016 from the USPHL Premier's Boston Jr. Bruins, where he had 27 points (5 G, 22 A) in 2015-16 season.
• Keegan Kolesar: Acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade on Saturday, June 24 in exchange for the 45th overall selection in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft
• Jake Leschyshyn: Father Curtis Leschyshyn won the Stanley Cup with Colorado in 1996 and skated in 1,033 career NHL games with Nordiques, Avalanche, Capitals, Whalers, Hurricanes, Wild, and Senators. Selected by the Golden Knights in the second round (62nd overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Josh Melnick: Had 27 points (9 G, 18 A) in 35 games as alternate captain of Miami (OH) in 2016-17 season.
• Dmitry Osipov: Selected first overall in the 2013 CHL Import Draft by the Vancouver Giants (WHL).
• Griffen Outhouse: Had the WHL's best GAA (1.82) and SV% (.937) in the 2015-16 season for the Victoria Royals.

• Artur Pavliukov: Won a bronze medal with Lithuania at the 2017 Division IB World Championship.
• Darian Romanko: Won the Robertson Cup (NAHL championship) in 2014-15 season for the Minnesota Wilderness.
• Jonas Rondbjerg: Won bronze medal with Denmark at 2017 Division IA U18 World Championship, named top player on team. Selected by the Golden Knights in the third round (65th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Jake Slaker: Had 42 points (21 G, 21 A) in 57 games in 2015-16 season as captain of the USHL's Bloomington Thunder.
• Alexey Solovyev: Had 16 points (7 G, 3 A) in 31 games in 2016-17 season for Bentley (NCAA).
• Martin Sundberg: Had 12 points (8 G, 4 A) in the 2016-17 season for the USHL's Fargo Force.
• Nick Suzuki: Won William Hanley Trophy in 2017 as the most sportsmanlike player in the OHL. Selected by the Golden Knights in the first round (13th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
• Keoni Texeira: Had 45 points (12 G, 33 A) in 72 games in the 2016-17 season for the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.
• Logan Thompson: Won the WHL Championship, alongside teammate and Golden Knights signee Reid Duke, in 2016 with the Brandon Wheat Kings.
• Matthew Timms: Had 63 points (11 G, 52 A) in 68 games in the 2016-17 season for the OHL's Peterborough Petes, a 42-point increase from the previous season.
• Alex Tuch: Acquired in a trade with the Minnesota Wild on June 21, 2017 in exchange for a 2018 conditional third-round pick during the 2017 Expansion Draft. Originally drafted by the Wild in the first round (18th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
• Max Veronneau: Named to All-Ivy League Second Team in 2016-17 season.
• Sebastian Vidmar: Named North American Hockey League MVP in 2014-15 with the Lone Star Brahmas.
• Will Warm: Had 24 points (9 G, 15 A) in 67 games in the 2016-17 season for the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings
• Justin Wells: Will play for Bowling Green State University for the 2017-18 season after getting 20 points (3 G, 17 A) in two full seasons with the USHL's Sioux Falls Stampede.
• Tyler Wong: Had 109 points (51 G, 51 A) in 69 games as captain of the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes in the 2016-17 season.
• Maksim Zhukov: Had a 2.63 GAA and 0.925 SV% in five games played for Russia at the 2017 U18 World Championship. Selected by the Golden Knights in the fourth round (96th overall) of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
