Help R Heroes Sponsors Nevada Military Order of the Purple Heart Event

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 13, 2024 – Help R Heroes, a non-profit organization that benefits veterans in need, is proud to be sponsoring the Nevada Military Order of the Purple Heart’s upcoming Halloween Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser at the Suncoast Bowling Center in Las Vegas.

Gary Scaife, a Vietnam U.S. Navy veteran and founder of Help R Heroes, said it’s an honor to support a fellow non-profit dedicated to supporting men and women who answered the call to serve their country. Proceeds from the event will help the MOPH uphold its mission stated below.

“The mission of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is to foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families.”

In addition, Scaife said the event will provide participants a chance to have fun at a venue that has earned three Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Vegas” awards. Fundraiser highlights will include free coffee and doughnuts, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction, team trophies, and best adult and kid costume awards.
