Here are the top three stories in Las Vegas today:
- A horror-themed pizza shop has opened off the Strip in Las Vegas. The new restaurant, Slice, has opened its doors at 2121 Industrial Road, right next to the "SAW" Escape Room, which is owned by Fright Dome creator Jason Egan. On the menu at the new pizza shop is the restaurant's "murder pie," which is served up on black pizza dough. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
- A new report has shown that rent across the Las Vegas valley is beginning to stabilize. According to The Nevada State Apartment Association, rents are projected to rise more slowly this year than previously projected, based on data from CoStar. Local apartment rents are expected to increase by about 5.5 percent (as opposed to the 7 to 8 percent that CoStar previously projected) by the end of 2022 compared to a year earlier. (News3LV)
- An "IT" inspired escape room experience will be opening in Las Vegas this fall. "Escape IT," a more than 30,000-square-foot experience, is expected to launch near the Strip. The attraction will offer movie fans two multi-room escape adventures that will bring the movie and its characters to life. (News3LV)
