Hotel Interacted With Vegas Shooter More Than 10 Times: Report

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the staff of the Mandalay Bay interacted more than 10 times in the days leading up to the massacre

LAS VEGAS, NV – The staff of the Mandalay Bay resort interacted more than 10 times with the man who eventually shot and killed dozens of of people and injured hundreds more. That's according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, which adds that two of those interactions took place on the day of the shooting.

The paper says that the information comes from answers provided to them by Mandalay Bay owner MGM Resorts.

"Mandalay Bay staff, room service and housekeeping had contact with (shooter Stephen) Paddock or entered his suite more than 10 times over the course of his stay, including the three days leading up to October 1," a spokesman told the Review-Journal.

The paper says that the statement from MGM came in response to a series of questions they had sent about possible changes to company policies on entering guest rooms without consent.

The October 1 shooting killed 58 people and injured 546 others.
