🌱 Housing Market Record + Child In Hospital Following Fire

Here are the top stories in Las Vegas today:

  1. The median price for a single-family home in November was $420,000, up from the previous record of $410,000 set just the month before, according to Las Vegas REALTORS. November's median price is also up nearly 22%, from $345,000 one year ago. Condos and townhomes sold in November set a new record with a median price of $240,000 as well. (New3LV)
  2. A 3-year-old child was trapped inside a house that was on fire Monday in the east Las Vegas Valley. Clark County Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Warren Whitney said the mother of the 3-year-old boy made it outside but told crews her son was trapped inside. When firefighters located the boy, he had gone into cardiac arrest. They were able to find a pulse and the child was transported to a local hospital. (FOX 5 Vegas)
  3. Due to yesterday's Amazon Web Services outage, Adele fans looking to buy presale tickets for her upcoming Las Vegas residency were told to wait until today to purchase. (KTNV)
  4. Clark County commissioners introduced an ordinance yesterday to revise the county's code references from McCarran Airport to Harry Reid International Airport. (KTNV)
  5. A Las Vegas restaurant is transforming into "The Nightmare Before Christmas" for the holiday season. (FOX 5 Vegas)
