Las Vegas 51s Ready For Home Opener
The team comes home 2-3, having won their second game on Monday.

It's been a tough first for the 51s, going 2-3 against the defending Pacific Coast League Champion El Paso Chihuahuas. They start their 2017 home season on Tuesday.
The 51s - the Triple A affiliate of The New York Mets - open with a seven game home stand against the Fresno Grizzlies and the Sacramento River Cats.

This is their fifth season as the top affiliate of the Mets.
They've compiled an overall record of 309-267 (.536) entering the '17 season which included back-to-back PCL playoff appearances in 2013 & 2014.

The team starts their home season on a high note - beating El Pas0 2-0 on a strong performance from starter Wilfredo Boscan, who pitched five shutout innings. He was backed up by Buck Wheeler who threw two inning and David Roseboom and Chasen Bradford who each pitched one.
