Las Vegas Dad Charged With Murdering Three-Year-Old Son
Brandon Nicholas's son was taken to the hospital with severe injuries with abuse, according to police. The child was pronounced dead there.

Just after 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, Las Vegas Police were called to an apartment on the 4600 block of Vegas Drive. A three=year-old boy had possibly drowned in the bathtub, they were told. The child was rushed to University Medical Center. His injuries were too severe and he was pronounced dead soon after.
Police say that detectives with the departments's Abuse and Neglect Section were called in when it was discovered that the child had severe bruising over his body.
They determined that the boy's child, Brnadon Nicholson "had inclifcted all of the injuries.

He is charged with Open Murder by Child Abuse and Child Abuse with Substantial Bodily Harm.

"The LVMPD would like to remind everyone about the about the importance of proper disciplinary behavior," the department said in a release.
"As a parent, if you feel like you are overwhelmed, step back, relax and allow some time to pass so you can respond appropriately to the situation."
