Las Vegas Fire Battles Blaze At Moulin Rouge Hotel

No one was injured in the fire at the abandoned property. A large plume of black smoke could be seen across the valley.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue put out a two-alarm fire that damaged three buildings at the old Moulin Rouge Hotel Friday morning. The fire was first reported at 10:15 and was brought under control about 45 minutes later.

The hotel, which has been abandoned, is frequented by squatters.

The cause is still under investigation but fire officials said squatters were probably in involved.
