Las Vegas Homicide: Neighbor Kills Neighbor In What May Be Self Defense

A man shot and killed his neighbor early Tuesday morning in what police say may have been an act of self defense. It happened around 6:30 along South Decatur Boulevard near Sahara Avenue.

The shooter told police he had woken up to find his neighbor in his apartment with a knife.

The man was shot once in the chest.

Police have not released the names of either person.

The shooter has not been charged though the investigation is continuing.
