Las Vegas Infant Killed In Dog Attack
The attack happened Monday afternoon on the 9100 block of West Brilliant Prairie Court.
A six-month-old child is dead after being attacked by a dog. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say it happened around 1 Monday afternoon on the 9100 block of West Brilliant Prairie Court near West Centennial Parkway and North Fort Apache Road.
The infant was rushed to Centennial Hills Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The child's mother was home at the time.

It's not clear how the infant came in contact with the dog, which is a pit bull terries mix.
