Las Vegas Man Charged With Killing Dog, Stealing Vehicle
Randy Burnell faces a slew of felony charges,, according to police.

A convicted felon killed a man's dog and stole the man's vehicle is under arrest, charged with a slew of felonies including maliciously killing a dog and possession of a stolen vehicle. Randy Burrell was arrested at a gas station on South Nellis Boulevard. Police say he was armed at the time.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were contacted last week by a man who said his Dodge Ram had been stolen from his driveway. The man said that his dog had been inside the truck at the time.
Later that night, the dog was found dead along the side of the road, dead, having been shot in the head.

Officers stopped Burrell on Monday when he failed to stop and then sped off.
