Las Vegas Man Convicted Of Murder Sentenced To Die
Thomas Randolph was convicted of hiring a hit man to kill his sixth wife and then killing the hit man.

It took nine years for the case to come to trial but once it did, it did not take long for a jury to convict Thomas Randolph of two murders - his sixth wife and the man he hired to killer. And less than one week after convicting him, they have sentenced him to die.
Prosecutors had said that Randolph wanted to collect on his wife's nearly $400,000 life insurance policy.
She was found shot to death in May 2008. Near her was the body of a man who had been shot five times.

Randolph originally claimed his wife had been shot once in the hwead by ski-mask wearing intruder who he then shot.
Prosecutors also drew comparisons between the death of Sharon Randolph and that of his second wife, Becky. Randolph had been acquitted of murder in her death in 1986, which the coroner ruled a suicide. (Subscribe to local news alerts on Patch).
