Las Vegas Man Kills Himself In Public

A very public suicide in downtown Las Vegas Monday afternoon. The las Vegas Metropolitan Police were called to the 500 block of South 11th Street downtown. It was near East Clark Avenue.

Callers told police that a man had shot himself on the street near an apartment complex.

They wanted to make sure that the police got their and closed off the crime scene to make sure that children would not be exposed to what had happened.

The victim's name has not been released.
