Las Vegas Power Outage: Service Back For Thousands Who Were Without
While power was back before expected, it was of little consolation for those who were without.

Nearly 8,000 of LV Energy's customers in Las Vegas were without power on Tuesday. The outage lasted about three hours with the final customers getting power back a little earlier than expected.
The power went out around 2:15. The utility says the cause was an equipment issue.
McCarran International Airport was spared.
