Las Vegas Raiders: FAA Clears Way For Stadium
The agency had thrown up a last minute hurdle concerning the stadium's height.

Well, that wasn't as bad as anyone had feared. After a month-long hiccup that had people concerned that the soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders might not be as soon to be as they had hoped, everything is back on track.
The FAA had announced they were studying the 225-foot height of the proposed stadium with an eye toward studying whether it would affect air traffic in and out of the area.
The agency originally said they would have a five week comment period. They then cut it to two weeks.

That decision allows the $1.9 billion stadium plan to go ahead as planned.

The Raiders are on a tight schedule.
They plan to open the 2020 season there, which means they need to start construction in December. And there's a lot of work to get done before then.
