Las Vegas Shooting: Police Department Thanks Community

Members of the department from dispatchers to K9 officers to detectives to the sheriff take turns thanking the community for their support.

It's been a tough ten days for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and on Wednesday they wanted to let the people of the city know how much their support has meant to them. The department released a video thanking the city.

The 2:30 video features members from all areas of the department from dispatchers and traffic officers to detectives, K9 officers, and Sheriff Joseph Lombardo.

"Every one of you who as a community supported us here and everything to do with public safety, thank you for supporting us in a time of need," Lombardo says in the video. .
