Las Vegas Stadium Authority OKs $64 Million Budget
The vote was almost anti-climactic after last week's approval of the stadium lease with the Raiders.

Just days after giving the okay to a stadium lease with Oakland Raiders, paving their way for their move to Vegas, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority looked inward Monday. The authority approved their own budget, which provides for an estimated $14 million for the remainder of this year and $50 million next year.
The authority is funded through an increase in the hotel room tax that was approved by the state legislature to help build the $1.9 billion stadium.

The NFL owners - who meet beginning Tuesday in Chicago - are expected to give the final approval to the Raiders move.
The hope is to have work on the stadium done in June 2020, allowing the team to move in and get used to their new home three months before the season.
