Las Vegas Terror Suspect: Judge Keeps Bail At $8 Million

The judge called Nicolai Mork "the trifecta of risk to the community."

Calling Nicolai Mork the "trifecta of risk to the community," District Judge Jennifer Togliatti said his bail would remain $8 million on terrorism-related charges. Mork, who has pleaded not guilty, has been indicted on eight charges including possession of component of explosive or incendiary device.

Police had been investigating fires and explosions in his neighborhood when they searched his home, finding chemicals that could be used in creating explosives.

They seized 17 hard drives and a desktop computer, some of of which contained upskirt photos that police allege Mork had taken.

Mork's lawyer had argued that prosecutors had "overcharged" the case and his client's bail should be lowered.

Togliatti rejected the request after considering evidence prosecutors said linked Mork - a graduate of MIT - to eight Molotov cocktails and more.
