- Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting which left a man dead early on Saturday morning. It appeared as though the victim was meeting someone and that the suspect pulled out a gun, shot him, and ran off. They are still searching for the suspect. (Elko Daily Free Press)
- Las Vegas healthcare providers await CDC guidance for boosters for those who received the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. An FDA advisory panel recently endorsed boosters for these two vaccines, and so healthcare providers are getting ready for the next rollout of COVID-19 boosters. Currently, only the Pfizer booster is available for those who qualify. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- For the fourth year, the Arts District hosted the Black Las Vegas Food Festival. This event brings the community and business owners together in what feels like an old-fashioned block party. (KLAS)
- Las Vegas police responded to a critical injury crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Decatur near Sahara. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- A new hard seltzer festival, Seltzerland, is coming to Las Vegas on Oct. 23. (News3LV)
