Here are the top stories in Las Vegas today:
- Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department needs your help finding the person who they say killed another driver in a road rage shooting on the 215 Beltway earlier this week. Early Monday morning, police say both drivers were speeding and passing one another in the eastbound lanes near the airport connector. One of the drivers pulled out a gun and shot the other. Detectives do not have a description of the shooter's vehicle and they're asking anyone who might have been in the area and had a dash camera to come forward. (KTNV Las Vegas)
- Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions says they are currently at CATpacity with cats and kittens, therefore, adoptions are needed right now. Adoptions are by appointment at Homeward Bound's adoption center Tuesday through Sunday, and at Petco on Saturdays.
Adoption fees range from $70 to $150 depending on age. There are discounts for adopting in pairs and for senior citizens. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Steve Sisolak was found at-fault, and he and another driver were each ticketed for traffic infractions following a two-car crash during the weekend in Las Vegas, according to a police report. - On Oct. 28, Firehouse Subs is offering a free medium sub to police officers, firefighters, military personnel, and EMTs in honor of National First Responders Day. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- The North Las Vegas Police Department is hosting a free and safe Halloween movie night on Oct. 27. The event is limited to 200 vehicles. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
