🌱 Restaurant Owner Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion + Burglary Suspect

Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- Las Vegas' Raul Gil has plead guilty to tax evasion. Gil is the owner and operator of three Casa Don Juan locations in the Las Vegas area. The U.S. Justice Department charged him with underreporting millions in cash sales. The Internal Revenue Service audited Gil in 2018. He will be sentenced on Nov. 10. (News3LV)
- The Las Vegas showgirls will soon return to the Las Vegas Strip. The iconic display might return bigger than ever. The current display is 25 feet tall, but a teased plan by the city is for a 50-foot tall display. The completion date has not been announced. (News3LV)
- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a suspect that posed as a health inspector. The burglaries occurred on Jul. 3. The suspect reportedly stole from two local fast food restaurants after convincing employees to open safes for a health inspection. Anyone with information on the man caught on surveillance footage should contact the department. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
