Southern Highlands Preparatory School Unveils New Building
The grand opening of the school's new addition featured a ribbon cutting ceremony, student-led tours and a family movie night.
Students at Southern Highlands Preparatory School in Las Vegas recently celebrated the grand opening of its new, state-of-the-art building with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by tours and a family movie night. An expansion of the original school, Southern Highlands Preparatory School’s new building is 10,000 square feet and includes an innovation lab, music room and science lab. The ribbon cutting ceremony featured speeches from the school’s eighth grade class president and members of the National Junior Honor Society, who shared their appreciation and excitement for the school’s new building. Kathleen Maroney, Executive Director of Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., the parent company of Southern Highlands Preparatory School, and County Commissioner Susan Brager provided remarks as well. The event also included face painting, food trucks and a viewing of the movie Hotel Transylvania 2.
