🌱Tech Companies Moving To Vegas + Caviar Bar + NV Holiday Sales

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Las Vegas.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, people of Las Vegas! It's me again, Rachel Kilimnik, your host of the Las Vegas Daily.

First, today's weather:

Sunny, breezy and cooler. High: 63 Low: 42.

Here are the top stories today in Las Vegas:

  1. An influx of tech companies and workers have moved into the Las Vegas valley to find greater opportunities and help diversify our economy. Throughout the past couple of months and during the pandemic, many companies have looked for more affordable real estate, a better quality of life, and fewer pandemic restrictions. Arya Bina is the founder of Kobe Digital, and he says that is the main reason why he moved his tech company's headquarters from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. (KTNV Las Vegas)
  2. Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt's Caviar Bar is rushing toward its Dec. 3 opening with a space completely devoted to the tiny delicacy — from the decor to the dishes. Located at Resorts World, the sleek, petite space with room for 105 marks Hergatt's first foray into Vegas dining. The dining room pays homage to caviar as well, with abstract representations and plenty of inky black details to make diners feel like they are in a tin of caviar. (Eater Vegas)
  3. An estimated 1.6 million Nevadans are expected to hit the checkout line over the five-day Thanksgiving long weekend that includes Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, according to the Retail Association of Nevada. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  4. An illegal turtle ring of baby red-eared slider turtles in containers for sale to tourists on the Las Vegas Strip was dismantled by the police. The 80 rescued reptiles now call the Animal Foundation home until they can find their forever families. (News3LV)
  5. SAHARA Las Vegas is celebrating Black Friday and Cyber Monday early this year with an online Cyber Steals sale from Wednesday, Nov. 24 through Tuesday, Nov. 30. (News3LV)
