  1. A Las Vegas 15-year-old has died and a driver has been arrested after a crash in the northeast valley. Police say a Ford and Toyota collided after they both ran a red light. The 52-year-old male driver of the Ford remained on scene and was arrested after he "showed signs of impairment." The 19-year-old driver of the Toyota sustained moderate injuries. The 15-year-old male front passenger of the Toyota was pronounced dead on the scene. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
  2. Las Vegas schools are reporting vandalism incidents tied to a TikTok challenge. Kids across the U.S. are posting TikTok videos of themselves vandalizing school bathrooms and stealing soap dispensers and even turf from football fields. The "devious licks" challenge that swept social media this week is plaguing principals and school district administrators (FOX5 Las Vegas)
  3. The Las Vegas high-rise market continues on a record-setting pace through the first eight months of 2021 and shows no signs of slowing, as realtors say a lack of luxury homes on the market is pushing more people to luxury condos. (Las Vegas Review-Journal)
  4. On Friday, a fire burned the main building of the Mount Charleston Lodge in a forest area that is a popular retreat from the summer heat for Las Vegas residents; no injuries were reported. (Las Vegas Sun)
  5. A Las Vegas company finds success creating a wonderland of soap where the products look good enough to eat. (KTNV Las Vegas)
