Join Clark County Commissioner Justin Jones Thursday, April 2, at 10 a.m. for a business townhall. Commissioner Jones will be joined by the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce, The Las Vegas Urban Chamber of Commerce and the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance to answer questions about doing business in Clark County during these unprecedented times. Participants will be able to ask questions directly to Commissioner Jones and other panel members during the townhall.

Governor Issues State of Nevada Declaration of Emergency Directive 003 Regulation of the Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management(ordinance stating directives, regulations and penalties to businesses deemed non-essential that do not cease operations from midight on March 20 until April 16)
Doing Business with Clark CountySelect County offices are working to continue to serve you during the COVID-19 outbreak. For convenience we have compiled a list of departments with instuctions for how each can be contacted during the temporary closure.
Clark County Business License
- Temporarily suspends late penalties, fees and other disciplinary actions.
- Penalties and late fees will not be assessed on business licenses that become due during April, May or June 2020 (this may be extended);
- The status of the business license will be not be changed to Delinquent status for license fees that become due during April, May or June 2020 (this may be extended);
- Collaborate with business owners to allow payment plans for renewal fees; and
- No disciplinary action for business license fee payments submitted after the due date.
- Business owners with questions about these changes should email PaymentInfo@ClarkCountyNV.gov.
Small Business Administration (SBA)
- SBA announces Economic Injury Disaster Loan program to provide small businesses with working capital loans up to $2 million. Get more information, on the SBA website.

City of Las Vegas
- Permits for restaurants serving curbside meals to allow sale of alcohol with meal. Email questions to license@lasvegasnevada.gov.
- Sewer bill late fees and liens waived until 30 days after the Emergency Declaration ends. Sewer bills may be paid online at https://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/sewer. Email questions to sewerservices@lasvegasnevada.gov or call (702) 229-1289.
City of Henderson
- Temporary Suspension of water service shutoffs.
City of North Las Vegas
- Building and Fire Safety Department requests for permits, plan reviews and inspections can be requested by email. Visit the city's website for more information.
- Utility payments should be made online or via an alternative method while city offices are closed to the public.
Department of Motor Vehicles
- Serving customers by appointment only
- 90-day extension on licenses, registrations and other DMV documents set to expire between March 16 and April 30. See the DMV website for an extension letter you can print and have to present to the authorities.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department
- Citizens may apply online for Concealed Firearms Permit. In-person appointments are scheduled to resume on April 27.
