Here are the top stories today in Las Vegas:
- The deadline for federal workers to be fully vaccinated is Nov. 22, but Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Las Vegas airport officials say this will not impact their ability to staff for Thanksgiving travel. Airport officials say next week if you are just being dropped off for your flight, they recommend arriving at least 2 hours before your flight leaves. If you are parking and planning on leaving your car at the airport, they recommend arriving at least 3 hours in advance. This will give you plenty of time to get through TSA and find your gate. - A local artist and creative director of We Talk Chalk, Melanie Stimmell Van Latum, and her team is on a mission to revitalize parts of the Las Vegas Valley. Their most recent project focused on painting 18 murals in an apartment complex west of the Strip. Some of the 18 murals feature coyotes, snakes, and aliens. Residents say the community was missing a pop of color. While Stimmell Van Latum is excited that residents love the murals, she said she's also hoping it will attract people from other parts of the community. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- Las Vegas police arrested a woman they said shot and killed a homeless man out of paranoia in October. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- A suspect has been arrested in connection with an argument in a Las Vegas parking lot that turned deadly earlier this week. (KTNV Las Vegas)
- Hit Show "Power of Attorney" features Las Vegas lawyer, Don Worley. (KNPR)
