- A Las Vegas boy who beat brain and thyroid cancer is now helping the Southern Nevada community this Giving Tuesday. Benji Sanchez is seven years old and this year he donated more than 1300 pairs of grippy socks to children's hospitals all over the country to help prevent patients from falling. Benji helped create rainbow-themed socks-- inspired by his motto--"Keep chasin' rainbows." (News3LV)
- A man throwing boulders at cars was arrested on Monday afternoon, according to the Clark County School District's police department. Officers patrolling near Liberty High School and Steve Schorr Elementary were flagged down by a woman who told them someone had just thrown a boulder at her moving vehicle. Police found a trail of boulders in the roadway and saw the man "actively catapulting boulders at vehicles," they said. (KTNV Las Vegas)
- Las Vegas, the "Wedding Capital of the World," is eyeing the emergence of the omicron COVID-19 variant with concern, just as November ushered in the comeback of international flights and tourists from abroad and marked a banner Las Vegas travel month. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
- Adele announces "Weekends with Adele," an exclusive residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The residency will begin on Jan. 21, 2022, with the global superstar scheduled to perform two shows each weekend through Apr. 16, 2022 (KTNV Las Vegas)
- The Mint 400, also known as "The Great American Off-Road Race," is coming back to Las Vegas this week. The race is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in the country. (FOX5 Las Vegas)
