Vegas Golden Knights Pick Chicago Wolves As Minor League Team
The Golden Knights signed a multi-year deal with the Wolves of the AHL.

That big hockey news you're feeling blowing on to the Strip is coming from the Windy City. The Vegas Golden Knights announced Tuesday that they've signed an affiliation agreement with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
The agreement allows the Golden Knights to transfer players to and from Chicago next year.
"American Hockey League affiliates play a significant role in the success of all NHL clubs and are we are proud to have the Chicago Wolves as our first in team history," said Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee.

The Wolves, who started out as pat of the International Hockey league in 1994, finished first n the Central Division last year. They made it to the second round of the Calder Cup playoffs before falling to the Griffins of Grand Rapids.
