Vegas Homicide: Police Probe Murder East Of The Strip
It happened Sunday night near Karen Avenue and Sherwood Street.

A man was found shot to death Sunday night east of the Strip an detectives want to know what happened. Officers had responded to reports of shots being fired near Karen Avenue and Sherwood Street around 7 p.m..
They found a man on the sidewalk, having been shot. He was rushed to Sunrise Hospital where he died.
The man's name won't be released until after he is identified and next of kin have been notified.

He is the 188th homicide to be investigated this year by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the 216th homicide in Clark County.
