Vegas Police Kill Man Who Threatened Them With Taser
The incident happened Monday morning at University Medical Center where they had brought him.

Las Vegas police shot and killed a man threatening them with a Taser at University Medical Center. it was the 17th officer involved shooting of the year.
Police say that officers had responded to the area of West Charleston Bouelvard and Palmhurst Drive for the report of a suicidal man.
The caller sounded intoxicated and said that officers would have to shoot him or take him to jail. He also said that he had a gun.

They has planned to take him to jail but police say because of his level of intoxication they brought him to the emergency room at UMC.

As officers were switching shifts, the man was able to get a hold of a Taser.
When a nurse and security guard came in to the room, the man pulled the Taser, drawing the attention of the officer outside the door.
The officer entered the room, was confronted by the man pointing the Taser at him.
The officer fired one shot, killing the man.
