Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. A new report published by market research firm Yardi Matrix highlights that 94 percent of Reno's apartments built within the last decade are categorized as luxury apartments. This statistic highlights the city's failure to provide affordable housing for low-income families. A luxury unit in Reno has on average 999 square feet of space, while a standard unit has 769 square feet. (Nevada Current)
  2. Is the current housing market making you feel a little overwhelmed? Patch and Redfin.com have teamed up to create a helpful list of the latest Reno properties that have hit the market. Click to view the full list of properties that includes prices, photos, and property dimensions. (Reno Patch)
  3. The Biggest Little City Wing Fest is returning for its eighth year in Reno. The festival will be on Friday, Jul. 29, and Saturday, Jul. 30, outside THE ROW on Virginia Street.
