Reno launches $1 million disaster relief program to help households impacted by wildfires (kolotv.com) — Reno residents affected by the Bug, Fred, Stallion, or Hawk wildfires can now apply for up to $1 million in emergency housing assistance through the city's new AB540 Disaster Relief Program. Reno Fire responds after six rafters overturn in Truckee River Saturday afternoon (foxreno.com) — Reno fire crews and REMSA responded Saturday afternoon after six rafters were thrown into the Truckee River, with four people pulled out by firefighters and two believed to have exited safely near Barbara Bennett Park.
