Here are the top three stories today in Reno:

  1. Saturday night's brushfire did not damage any structures in east Sparks, according to Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue. The burning occurred near the Los Altos loop, close to Skystone Drive. Fire crews worked throughout the night to ensure that the brushfire did not cross the fence line. (KOLO)
  2. Is the current housing market making you feel a little overwhelmed? Patch and Redfin.com have teamed up to create a helpful list of the latest Reno properties that have hit the market. Click to view the full list of properties that includes prices, photos, and property dimensions. (Reno Patch)
  3. The Reno Municipal Court continues to offer warrant forgiveness through Sept. 30. Most defendants with outstanding traffic or minor misdemeanor warrants qualify for the program. Individuals must call the Reno Municipal Court, pay the original fine and fees, and then go to the courthouse to receive community service. The court's Marshal Unit will aggressively push for arrests following the forgiveness period. (City of Reno)
