City Of Reno: Masks Required In Public Indoor Settings At City Of Reno Facilities

The City of Reno is advising the public that effective tomorrow, per the CDC’s Interim Public Health Recommendations, all people, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask (face covering) in public indoor settings at all City of Reno facilities.

The CDC’s updated recommendation, released today, applies to counties that are experiencing substantial or high transmission. Per the CDC’s COVID-19 County View, Washoe County is currently flagged as a “high transmission” county (it’s shaded red).
Employees and visitors to all City of Reno facilities, which includes City Hall and all Reno Parks and Recreation facilities, must follow this new guidance. Please note that in-person attendees of tomorrow’s Reno City Council meeting, starting at 10 a.m., are required to wear a mask.
