A fun event for the entire family, participants are invited to enjoy free tennis classes offered by experts at Tennis Nation Racquet Sports, face painting, lunch from local food truck, emPIEnada, and dessert from Rita’s Italian Ice. The event is generously funded by Councilmember Reese through his Council funding.
“We are very fortunate to have great tennis and pickleball courts throughout the City of Reno, as well as passionate experts who love introducing the sports to interested residents,” said Reese. “Through Saturday’s free tennis and pickleball family day, I hope to see families coming together to enjoy some quality time outdoors and learn the basics of two family-friendly sports. My ultimate goal is that they have such a great experience they’re inspired to come back and enjoy the sports again on their own.”
