Here are the top three stories today in Reno:

  1. The Reno Municipal Court is offering warrant forgiveness to those with outstanding traffic and minor misdemeanor warrants. Effective Jul. 1 and continuing through Sep. 30, individuals with active warrants can call the court (775-334-2290) or go to the courthouse to take advantage of this program. Defendants have the choice to pay their original fines and any related fees in full, or to convert their financial obligation to community service hours. (Press Release Desk)
  2. A local artist will help restore a vintage sign for the Reno Public Market (RPM). Artist Jeff Johnson will upcycle the former "Faye's" sign, originally found on the roof of the building, into a neon piece for RPM's stage area. The market space is scheduled to open this fall and will serve as a hub for the arts. (KOLO)
  3. Looking to add a furry friend to your household? Start your search with these adorable, adoptable pets in Reno area shelters. Meet Cali the calico cat, Hard Boiled the mixed-breed pup, and more at the link. (Reno Patch)
