Here are the top stories in Reno today:
- The Washoe County School District Board of Trustees narrowed their choice Tuesday to fill an open seat on the Board. Eleven candidates applied for the District F vacancy, which became open with the resignation of Jacqueline Calvert. The finalists will be interviewed by the Board on Nov. 9.(KOLO)
- The recent storm system could mean an early opening for local ski resorts. Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe saw 38 inches at the base of the mountain and 42 inches at the summit. Crews are working to put pads back on chairlifts, putting up boundaries, and surveying the terrain. (KOLO)
- The Associated Students of the University of Nevada (ASUN) will be hosting events that encourage participation of the Wolf Pack community with local Reno and Sparks City Councilors. The entire Wolf Pack community, especially students, are encouraged to participate in these events happening through November.(KTVN)
