Here are the top stories in Reno today:
- Reno Police Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred late Monday night. Detectives from the Robbery-Homicide Unit say the incident appears isolated and there is no immediate threat to the community. The identity of the shooting victim has not yet been released. (KKOH)
- Fewer people are moving to Reno-Sparks, likely because of the high cost of living. The drop in new residents is noticeable and home sales have seen a 16 percent decrease over the last year. There are predictions that small businesses, especially those with low profit margins, will see a negative impact from the labor shortage. (ThisisReno)
- Reno Breathe Bar is offering oxygen naps to firefighters as a way to thank those fighting local fires. (KOLO)
