- A fire was started in a home on Maple Leaf Trail by someone who was currently residing in the space. Thankfully, the fire did not spread to nearby houses. The fire department was called to the scene, and they were quickly able to knock it down. The occupant was not injured, and investigations are taking place. (KRNV My News 4)
- A Reno home intruder has been killed in an act of self-defense. Currently, police are investigating the case; robbery and homicide detectives recently took over the investigation. As of right now, the homeowner has appeared to be acting in self-defense; no arrests will take place at this time. (KOLO)
- A Reno High student went on KUNR Public Radio to reflect on her personal development throughout the pandemic. Instead of focusing on the negatives of the pandemic, high school senior Fiona Perrault took the extra time to hone in on her creative writing. Check out the full interview in this article!
