🌱 Reno Food & Drink Week Returns + Micromobility Project Delayed
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in Reno.
Hi all. It's me, Dominique-Noelle Rafael, your host of the Reno Daily — back in your inbox with everything you need to know about what's happening in town these days.
First, today's weather:
Partly sunny and warmer. High: 82 Low: 52.
📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Reno who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Reno Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top three stories in Reno today:
- Reno Food and Drink Week is returning for its third year today! More than 70 local restaurants and bars are participating in this year's event, which will run through Jun. 8. Proceeds from the special menu items at participating locations will help support local charities. (KRNV)
- City of Reno officials say supply chain issues have delayed the completion of the Micromobility Pilot Project. The micromobility lanes on Virginia Street and 5th Street will remain closed until all remaining materials can be properly installed. As of Tuesday, May 31, the city had not yet set a new estimated project completion date. (Press Release Desk)
- Storey County Emergency Management and the Desert Research Institute are teaming up to conduct a public survey on wildfire smoke and the need for emergency services. The Wildfire Smoke Risk Questionnaire will gauge public knowledge of the risks and remedies related to wildfire smoke exposure. The questionnaire takes about five to 10 minutes to complete and is available online now. (KRNV)
