Here are the top 3 stories today in Reno:

  1. An 18-year-old is dead after a weekend shooting in Reno. Alexander Sanabria arrived at Renown Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound Saturday morning, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating the case as a homicide, but detectives do not believe the public is in danger. (Reno Gazette Journal)
  2. It's National Bike Month, and the Kiwanis Bike Program is accepting bicycles for a swap and sale. Community members can drop off their bikes starting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and receive 80 percent of the selling price. Kiwanis is also accepting bike parts for donation. (KOLO)
  3. Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority is sharing details about its multi-year upgrade plan. Later this year, the airport will begin the expansion of the ticketing hall. In 2023, the airport will make large-scale changes to rental car operations, and in 2024 it will begin redeveloping the airport's concourses.
