🌱 Missing Elderly Man + City Plaza Menorah Lighting

Here are the top stories in Reno today:

  1. The Reno Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing and endangered elderly man who was last seen on Nov. 22. Bernardo Tabije is described as Asian/Pacific Islander, standing about 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was last seen at his home off Gannon Drive and was wearing a dark blue Insignia baseball hat, dark blue puffy style vest, denim long sleeve button up shirt and carrying a dark blue canvas style bag.   2. The Washoe County Health District is teaming up with Renown Health to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to kids ages 5-11 years at four individual events throughout Dec. The events are scheduled for four Wednesdays throughout the month: Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 22 (second doses) and Dec. 29 (second doses). All events are open from 4-6 p.m. at the Hometown Health building at 10315 Professional Circle in Reno. (KTVN)
  3. About 100 people in the community gathered for the annual Grand Chanukah Menorah Lighting ceremony on Sunday night at City Plaza. (ThisisReno)
  4. Reno's jobless rate is now 3.2 percent, down three-tenths from Sept. (Northern Nevada Business Weekly)
  5. The Bascom Group has made an entrance into Reno, acquiring a 147-unit apartment community for $31 million. (Yahoo Finance)
