Here are the top three stories in Reno today:

  1. With COVID-19 restrictions continuing to ease worldwide, international travelers are starting to return to the Reno area. Through a series of funding and partnership, the Northern Nevada International Center (NNIC) will reinstate in-person operations for over nine of its foreign exchange programs. One such exchange is the Youth Leadership Program with Algeria, running from Jun. 14 through Jun. 26; the program is currently seeking host families. (KOLO)
  2. Basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neill is slated to open six locations of his fast-casual chicken restaurant across northwest Nevada. O'Neill has signed an agreement with franchisee Damon Kreizenbeck, who owns four Firehouse Subs locations (including two in Reno), to bring Big Chicken to the area. The new restaurants will have seating, with some locations having a drive-thru option. (KOLO)
  3. Whodunnit? Find out with Bruka Theatre's production of "Clue," running through Jul. 17. The comedic murder mystery is based on the board game and movie of the same name. Tickets are $28 per person in advance and $30 at the door; discounts are available for students, seniors, and military personnel.(This Is Reno)
