C.1 - Reno Firefighters Collective Bargaining Agreement

Council approved the agreement between the city and Reno Firefighters Local 731 International Association of Firefighters for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021.

D.4 - COVID Risk Meter

Dr. Jeremy Smith briefed the council on the updated Truckee Meadows Regional Planning Agency meter. This week the meter reached its highest danger level to date, and is used as another tool for medical professionals and elected officials to make decisions about changes in the community.

B.4 - Children’s Cabinet Donation

Council approved an award of up to $264,000 to Children’s Cabinet for childcare providers. That funding will come from CARES Act Coronavirus relief.

B.5 - Arts Grants

Council approved an additional $50,000 award to the Sierra Arts Foundation. The funding is coming from CARES Act Coronavirus relief and brings the total grant to the Foundation to $150,000.

G.1.1 - Capital Projects Surcharge Advisory Committee

Council appointed Jonathan Boulware.

G.1.2 - Reno Arts and Culture Commission

Council reappointed Doug Erwin and Shaughn Richardson, and appointed Eric Andersen, Bhie-cie Ledesma, and Mark Salinas.
