Here are the top stories in Reno today:
- On Wednesday evening, a pedestrian was struck by a Regional Transportation Commission bus in northwest Reno. According to the Reno Police Department, the pedestrian was in intensive care with life-threatening injuries after the incident. Three passengers were on the bus at the time of the accident, but none of them were injured. The cause of the crash is still being determined, but police say impairment does not appear to be a factor. (KOLO)
- Reno's weekend forecast is expected to bring bright, sunny weather. Saturday will bring the warmest weather with temperatures breaking into the low 60s. Sunday will bring slightly cooler weather, dipping as low as 20 degrees, and gusts of wind are expected to reach 22 miles per hour. (Reno Patch)
